The Mennen Environmental Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, does not accept general grant applications. Rather, we invite the representatives of selected organizations to discuss their program and its needs. Invited applicants must have either a proven record, or the potential for meaningful impact. Frugal spending and more volunteers than paid staff, is also essential. If there appears to be a good fit within the parameters of our mission, a formal application is requested. Our Executive Director reviews the applications and presents those chosen to the MEF Board of Directors for final assessment.
